What this shows
This chart shows ENTSO-E forecast transfer capacity between bidding zones in each direction. It represents available cross-zonal capacity, not the electricity that will actually flow across the border.
The outlook combines the latest available ENTSO-E capacity forecasts and is updated as delivery approaches. Its main value is showing planned changes in interconnector availability, such as maintenance or outages.
These values are indicative rather than exact market limits. Most of these markets use flow-based market coupling, where cross-border capacity is determined using a wider network model rather than a single independent limit for each border.
